We live in a world of rapid change – technological, social, economic and political. In the midst of this flux are organizations, which are trying to make sense of these changes and how they can perform better. And within these pressured organizations, the function of Human Resources (HR) is more important than ever.

In 2015, flooding in South India claimed over 500 lives, and displaced more than 1.8 million. The city of Chennai was particularly hard-hit.

With an office located in Chennai, Sagitec felt compelled to help their community rebuild. Sagitec teamed up with Aid India and donated funds to have seven homes built for underprivileged families who lost their homes as a result of the flood. All seven homes have been completed and handed over to displaced families.

For the past 39 years, Little Canada has hosted an annual, weekend-long community festival dubbed Canadian Days. This year marks the 40th annual celebration, which will be held from July 29th through July 31st. This year’s theme is "May the 40th be with You," a nod to the festival’s 40th year and cultural phenomenon, Star Wars.

The Fiji National Provident Fund’s (FNPF) ProMIS application, which was designed, developed and implemented by Sagitec Solutions in 2014, received a Certificate of Merit award from the International Social Security Association (ISSA) on Nov. 2, 2015 in Muscat, Oman.

The regional competition recognizes agencies that have implemented innovative solutions to address a specific issue, with the ultimate goal of reaching excellence.
