Missouri LAGERS Sees High Impact from Sagitec Solutions’ Neospin™ Employer Web Portal

The Missouri Local Government Employees Retirement System (LAGERS) launched a new Employer Web Portal using Sagitec Solution’s Neospin™ pension administration framework. This key phase of LAGERS’ initiative to replace their entire pension administration solution with Neospin™ was implemented ahead of schedule and is showing immediate and measurable benefits to LAGERS and employers alike.

The successful adoption of the portal by the employer pilot group allowed LAGERS to accelerate the implementation of remaining employers, who immediately benefit from faster and more accurate contribution payments, new member enrollments, and account adjustments. For LAGERS, the portal improves wage and service reporting by reducing errors and correction time frames. It enables them to accept electronic payment transactions initiated from employers, which was not possible with the legacy system.

In short, the employer web portal greatly enhances LAGERS’ ability to support the 605 local subdivisions they serve through the portal’s customer service facility.

The project continues with implementation of benefit estimate, retirement application, and benefit payment functions. A feature-rich Member Web Portal will cap off the project in March 2012.
