Carie O’Brien, Phil Tackett, and Jamie Gramelspacher-Phillips bring years of experience and expertise to Sagitec’s Labor and Employment Practice
Carie O’Brien brings over 18 years of experience in the government industry, with the last 10 years in the Iowa Workforce Development, Unemployment Insurance (UI) Division. Carie’s last position was the UI Tax Bureau Chief where she provided executive direction and oversight of UI tax, tax and benefit overpayment collections, benefit charging, and accounting areas. Carie was responsible for the executive oversight of Iowa’s UI tax system, MyIowaUI. Carie is currently assigned to the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services where she will help implement Sagitec’s Neosurance™ UI tax, benefits, and appeals solution.
Phil Tackett brings to Sagitec over 20 years of experience, from IBM and Deloitte, implementing public sector solutions to better serve their constituents in the Labor and Employment industry. He has specialized in the UI market working with UI agencies in Kentucky, Minnesota, New York, and New Mexico. In these states, Phil led teams to deliver UI tax, benefits and appeals modernization. Phil is currently assigned to the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services where he will help implement Sagitec’s Neosurance™ UI tax, benefits and appeals solution.
Jamie Gramelspacher-Phillips brings to Sagitec over 19 years of UI tax, benefits and appeals modernization experience, while working for the State of Indiana and Capgemini. She has worked on multiple, successful UI modernization projects for the states of Indiana, Nevada, North Carolina, and South Carolina. In these states, Jamie led teams to deliver UI tax, benefits and appeals modernization solutions. Jamie is currently assigned to the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services where she will help implement Sagitec’s Neosurance™ UI tax, benefits, and appeals solution.
