Sagitec to Revamp Denver Employees Retirement Plan

Sagitec Solutions, LLC, a global technology services company, is implementing its Neospin™ framework at the Denver Employees Retirement Plan (DERP). DERP, which provides a defined benefit retirement plan for over 20,000 employees and retirees of the City of Denver, Colorado and the Denver Health and Hospital Authority, will receive an integrated, browser-based pension administration system to be hosted by Sagitec at their data center in Denver. This multiple-year contract marks Sagitec's second pension system implementation in Colorado.

"We selected Sagitec based on their record of accomplishment in working with other public pension funds on very similar projects, and their competitive fee proposal," said DERP Executive Director Steve Hutt.

To help DERP achieve their vision to "exceed evolving customer service expectations, and to be recognized as best in class among public retirement systems," Sagitec will replace the organization's mainframe and ancillary applications with a solution built on a Microsoft .NET platform. The new system will integrate with the existing accounting package, imaging solution, and office automation, while improving business processing speed and extending self-service functionality to members and employers. DERP expects to implement their integrated browser based retirement administration solution in 2011.
