Sagitec’s Neosurance solution is a fully integrated, browser-based application providing comprehensive functionality for Unemployment Insurance (UI) Tax, Benefits and Appeals administration. Neosurance also helps you administer Disability Insurance and Paid Family & Medical Leave (PFML) Tax/Contribution and Benefits.
Neosurance meets at least 70% of any state workforce agency’s business requirements out of the box and is designed to be easily tailored to meet each agency’s unique needs without complex software programming.

Employer and Third-Party Administrator Self-Service
Sagitec’s preeminent self-service portals allow employers and third-party administrators to manage their accounts based on user-level and role-based security. Employers can submit wages and payments, view their account balance, and designate multiple users and/or third-party administrators. Third-Party Administrators can submit wages and payments for individual employers or bulk file for multiple employers simultaneously with a single sign-on.
Claimant Self-Service
Neosurances reduces call center volumes and improves customer service by enabling claimants to access their information through a secure self-service portal. Claimants are able to update their personal data, view payment history, review claims information, and respond to agency requests based on their specific cases.
Eligibility Determination
Neosurance determines eligibility of a disability claim and can be configured according to the eligibility rules of each state. Neosurance checks if the claimant or employer has been paying into the program, the claimant meets the minimum gross contribution requirements, and the claimant is disabled by contacting the medical provider to confirm medical condition. The medical provider can respond to inquiries via the online portal and that information is used in the eligibility determination process.
Contact Management
Our integrated contact management module consolidates information from multiple sources (e.g., document imaging, phone system, Neosurance, etc.) into a 360 degree view of the respective contact. This provides staff with a solid foundation of knowledge and understanding that greatly improves customer service and reduces processing errors. Neosurance also automates service requests by routing customer information requests to appropriate workflow queues for staff attention.
Effective Tax and Benefit Management
Initial and Continued Claims Processing
Neosurance streamlines claims processing by calculating benefit amounts, effective dates, and balances across all claim types while guiding staff through eligibility and wage determinations via efficient workflows and application wizards. Throughout the continued claims process, staff can collect claimant information, process payment requests with applicable deductions, enter certifications, and manually reopen past weeks for claims, ensuring accurate and timely disbursement.
Reemployment Services
Neosurance integrates with re-employment services. This allows claimants to log into and learn the navigation of one portal that displays their job matches, lists additional reemployment services available, allows updates of claimant reemployment information and allows for easy collection of required job search information.
Adjudication
Neosurance provides efficient and highly intuitive workflow technology that pushes the most critical, in terms of timeliness and agency priority, adjudication issues to the appropriate adjudicators. Application wizards guide staff through a series of steps to accurately make a decision, and then pre-fills determination letters based on the specific decision rational selected by the adjudicator.
Wage Processing and Tax Reports
Neosurance validates employer liability, calculates taxes from wage records, and tracks taxable wages by Social Security number. Its integrated components improve data accuracy and streamline tax and benefits processing.
Experience Rating and Benefit Charges
Staff can manage annual rate and fee calculations and calculate employer tax rates. Neosurance allows staff to modify actuarial components, change rates and calculations, and provide employers with real-time views of benefits charged and rate information.
Field Audit
Neosurance provides an online or offline function that integrates with tax elements of the solution, all while maintaining a high level of security. This functionality allows states to meet federal auditing requirements and includes features to select random and targeted audits. Field audit updates synchronize an employer’s business information with the information stored in Neosurance. Field audit staff are able to interface with a central repository of data, providing much needed data integrity and consistency.

Program Integrity
On the benefits side, Neosurance provides an intuitive user interface for extracting data for Benefits Accuracy Measurement (BAM) and Benefits Timeliness and Quality (BTQ) samples. On the tax side, Neosurance extracts the necessary samples for Tax Performance System (TPS) and integrates with the Field Audit module to upload results into the system.
Federal Reporting
Staff can generate mandatory Employment and Training Administration (ETA) and data validation reports to meet U.S. Department of Labor compliance guidelines.
Integration with SIDES
During the adjudication process, staff can obtain separation information from State Information Data Exchange System (SIDES) to reduce improper payments due to untimely, inaccurate, or incomplete job separation information.
