Job Description:

Sagitec is seeking a Sr. Database Developer to work with systems development teams, architects, and client stakeholders in our pension vertical. The role involves leading data analysis for clients looking to modernize or upgrade existing business processes and systems using Sagitec’s Neospin™ Pension product offering. You will be responsible for database development and implementation of the system to create a solution that satisfies our clients’ unique business needs.

Responsibilities:

• To develop, test and execute data conversion procedures and processes.

• Understand the Pension system and Legacy data and provide data analysis on legacy client databases.

• Document the data mapping, processes, programs and solutions as per established standards.

• Identify SQL performance issues and provide corrective measures.

• Learn and understand Sagitec Data practices and learn Retirement Benefit system.

• Develop, test and execute data conversion procedures and processes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in SQL Server, SSIS (ETL Processing).

• Interface with customer, gather requirements and create mapping documents.

• Has a strong understanding of the overall software delivery lifecycle and activities.

• Expertise in developing ETL packages using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) (Data Extraction, Transformation, and loading from heterogeneous Sources to SQL Server target).

• Strong in T-SQL Scripting. Designing, Developing, Testing SQL queries.

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 or above.

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Security and User administration.

• Ability to analyze the data sources, identify the data issues and patterns before Data Migration.

• Ability to learn and support new and existing applications.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment, manage time effectively.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
