Job Duties:
Manage the execution of technology-focused projects of significant complexity from conception through delivery, including successful project definition, planning, budgeting, time estimating and scheduling, project staff planning and resource leveling, organizing, leading high-performance project teams, and delivery of projects. Escalate any technical issues, roadblocks, or project risks to the Delivery Manager. Manage all factors that govern project success to ensure high-quality delivery within time, cost, and quality parameters. Meet with the Delivery Manager regularly to discuss the development quality measures for the project and assess that the best practices are being adhered to. Co-ordinate with onsite TA (technical analyst) and BA (business analyst) to understand functional requirements and work with offshore developers. Mentor the software engineers/developers on the development team. Support the onsite Program Manager with estimations relating to the specialized areas or components. Conduct code reviews with the developers within the development team. Lead the daily stand-up or scrum meetings. Lead the deployments to each environment within the development lifecycle. Research and evaluate a variety of software products.
Requirements:
Master's or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related and 12 months of experience in the job offered or in a related lead role in pension, retirement systems, or unemployment systems domain. In the alternative, we will accept a Bachelor's or equivalent in the above-stated fields plus 60 months of progressive experience in the above-stated occupations. Additionally, all candidates must possess experience with all phases of the software development cycle. Position is based out of our HQ in St Paul, MN, and may require relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the United States. Rate of Pay: $118,477.00/year.
