Immediately after go live, Sagitec’s client experiences benefits of new pension administration solution

Only months after going live with their new Neospin™ pension administration solution (PAS), the School Employees Retirement System of Ohio (SERS) is already witnessing the benefits of modern technology. On Feb. 27, 2017, SERS officially stopped using their homegrown, technologically obsolete PAS and started using a system designed by Sagitec Solutions. The PAS, which SERS named SMART, has satisfied the overarching goal of the software modernization project, said SERS’ Deputy Director Helen Ninos.

Despite a flood of early retirements that forced DERP staff to take a three-month hiatus from the project, dedicated teams from both parties collaborated on an innovative solution to the potentially serious setback and drove the project to successful completion. The new system, called CRIS, is live and currently supporting all of DERP’s core business functions.

Sagitec Reports Progress on “State of the Industry” Pension System for PSRS/PEERS of Missouri

Jefferson City, MO – Seeking to enhance business processes and improve service levels to members and employers well into the 21st century, the Public School and Education Employee Retirement Systems of Missouri (PSRS/PEERS) partnered with Sagitec Solutions, LLC, a global provider of IT administration solutions, to implement a new framework-based, “state of the industry” pension administration system.  The project, dubbed “OASIS,” implements Sagitec’s Neospin™ framework, which provides a technical architecture flexible enough to support PSRS/PEERS’ existing application functionality but includes many enhanced core functions such as data integrity, full transaction processing, security and internal controls.  The OASIS project began in March 2010 and is Sagitec’s second major pension system implementation in the state of Missouri.
