Sagitec Solutions is Building Homes for Chennai Flood Victims

Sagitec Solutions, in collaboration with AID India, donated money to rebuild seven houses for families who lost their homes during the 2015 Chennai floods. 

 

Sagitec Solutions is helping Chennai, India rebuild after a 100-year storm ravaged the city in December 2015. The storm, which dumped nearly 11 inches of rain, came on the heels of the rainiest November in the city’s history.  The storm left incredible damage in its wake: more than 500 people were killed and more than 1.8 million people were displaced.

Sagitec Solutions successfully completed the largest Enterprise Content Management (ECM) migration in the company’s 12 year history for one of their clients, the University of California (UCal). Sagitec’s ECM team was tasked with migrating 7.2 million documents from the client’s legacy system (IBM Image Services) to IBM FileNet P8 and completed this objective in less than 7 months.

Flood of city employee early retirements almost delayed the project, but a strong commitment to success and a dedicated team carried the project forward

St. Paul, MN (June 14, 2012) - Sagitec Solutions, LLC, the Minnesota-based IT firm specializing in tailor-made pension administration systems, successfully delivered an integrated line-of-business solution for the Denver Employees Retirement Plan (DERP) of Denver, CO five months ahead of schedule. Despite a flood of early retirements that forced DERP staff to take a three-month hiatus from the project, dedicated teams from both parties collaborated on an innovative solution to the potentially serious setback and drove the project to successful completion. The new system, called CRIS, is live and currently supporting all of DERP’s core business functions.
