Rick Deshler
In 2003 Rick co-founded Sagitec to create a framework-based pension administration solution that could be uniquely implemented for each client. He has more than 27 years experience with state and local government, including 18 years at the Public Employees Retirement Association of Minnesota. Rick graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Cardinal Stritch University. He has decades of experience in business development, strategic partnership, and team leadership, and emphasizes close relationships with each client.
Ranjith Kotcherlakota
Ranjith is a co-founder of Sagitec. He has over 21 years of experience, including 14 years in state and local government. As CIO, he oversees technical development standards and global IT services. Ranjith is a co-creator of Neospin™. He has proven many times that he can deliver complex systems clients will love.
Ranjith is head of Global IT Services, which plans and manages shared services across Sagitec. Global IT is also responsible for post-implementation support services;
Bala Venkat
Bala is a co-founder of Sagitec and a co-creator of Neospin™. An expert in offshore delivery and operations management, Bala has more than 23 years of systems development and integration experience, including 18 years specifically in state and local governments.

Deepak Ahuja
Deepak is a co-founder of Sagitec. He has over 20 years of experience designing and implementing large business applications with 15 years in state and local government. Deepak is the head of research and development and a co-creator of Neospin™. Deepak specializes in tailoring solutions specific to the business problem, defining the appropriate approach, and deploying the right combination of client and consulting resources to implement the solutions. He has extensive experience with the entire software lifecycle for custom development projects.
Rod Sheppard
Rod is a co-founder of Sagitec. He has over 25 years of experience, including 20 years in county, city, and statewide public pension systems. Rod heads program delivery for each project. He has consulted for a broad range of clients, including public employee, teacher, police and fire, judge and legislative retirement systems, and brings that experience to every client relationship at Sagitec. Rod has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems Management from Park College and an Associate’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Community College of the United States Air Force.
Piyush Jain
Piyush has over 20 years of experience in global software, including 19 years as Senior Vice President of Patni Computer Systems, a global IT leader based in Mumbai, India. Piyush holds a Master of Statistics and Bachelor of Science from Agra University.
As head of Operations, Piyush is responsible for human resource management, finance and accounting, facilities management, and mergers and acquisitions.
Piyush lives in Chicago, where he collects stamps and coins and plays cricket and racquet-ball. He actively supports many institutions to promote basic education, especially in rural India.
Rajagopalan Madhavan
Madhavan has over 22 years of experience in corporate finance, accounting, audit, costing and budgeting. He also has experience implementing, maintaining and enhancing processes in both administration and commercial functions. Before joining Sagitec, Madhavan was primarily associated with manufacturing organizations in India including a 10 year stint with Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd, a Tata group concern which was later taken over by Kansai Paints, Japan. Madhavan holds a Masters degree in Commerce from the University of Madras, a Masters degree in business administration from the School of Management, Pondicherry University and is also a qualified cost accountant from the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India.
Sanjay Bhasin
Chief Human Resources Officer & Global Head - HR
With over 25 years of experience, having 16 years in International HR specializing in areas like US Immigration, Employment Law, Policies and Processes, HRIS, Talent Management, Employee Development, Benefits Administration and Compensation, Sanjay is now Global Head of HR .
Before joining Sagitec, Sanjay was primarily associated with IT companies in India and USA. While in India, Sanjay started his career in Marketing at TataNet , a Tata group concern and then moved to Corporate HR. Later he moved to USA and worked at Patni Computer Systems in Boston, MA. Sanjay holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Pune University MBA Program Center, Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Development from Lucknow and Bachelors of Law -LLB (Academic) from Symbiosis Law College, Pune in India. Besides this, Sanjay also has PHR Certification from USA.
